  • What does Dojo mean/What is a Dojo?
    A special room in which martial arts is practiced.
  • What do I call my instructor?
    You can call your instructor Shihan.
  • What should I wear when I try my first class?
    If you do not have a uniform, wear athletic/sport clothing to the dojo.
  • I have a black belt in a different style. Can I join the dojo with a black belt?
    Yes, but if you would like to earn a black belt in the Shotokan style, you will have to speak with Shihan Marius Gilca and he will give you a plan of how to go at a faster pace toward a black belt with our style.
  • Do I get a free uniform if I sign up?
    Yes, you will get a free uniform if you sign up for 1 full month of karate.
  • Do you charge annual fees?
    We do NOT charge annual fees
  • Do I need to sign a contract?
    No, we do not have contracts.
  • What age do I have to be to start?
    Anyone can start if you're age 4 and older.
